It's been a long time since I've posted anything for Illustration Friday. This week's challenge is "Homage" so I made a digital drawing of one of Miro's in homage to him. I love the colors.
It's been quite a while since I've posted a pic for Illustration Friday. This week's topic is "Polar" and I made this graphic after visiting the Lofoten Islands which are as close to a pole as I've ever been. It is not specific in any way, just an impression.
Sorry if you tuned in to find out what's the buzz, or you were looking for a bee, or a way to get high.... When I hear the word BUZZ I think of a funny haircut shaved straight across the top. And so my entry for this week's Illustration Friday is here-->
This is last week's word for the Illo Friday art challenge: quiet. I didn't get a chance to post it then but I'll put it here anyway. This bunny on the snow looks quiet to me.
Illustration Friday’s challenge this week is “CLEAN.” Modern design looks very clean to me. I found a jpeg of a painting I like (Concourse by William Lachowicz, c.1959) and hung it in this virtual room I drew. I’m no designer but it was fun “painting” the walls and “framing” and “unframing” the art work and incorporating it into the room.
It began as the outline of buildings seen against the sky but I guess my eyes became accustomed to the light. Here's this week's submission to Illustration Friday for the theme: SKYLINE.
