stunned by fjords breathtaking view.

Then, Oddlief! Help us catch a fish

so we'll have an authentic dish

and know a true Norwegian way

to spend Lofoton’s summer day—

a boat, the sea, the sun, the wood,

the cozy rorbu; all is good.

Now I know why we call this the Critters and Poets Summit.... We are here in the Arctic Circle and the place has never been hotter! We are writing poetry, painting, and having a great time together. See for yourselves.

2006 Lobster Mini Season
in the

Florida Keys

The two-day Sport Lobster Season was last week. As usual, the Keys House was a hub of activity and I stayed away (don’t dive, don’t know the rules, don’t care). I don't dive but I kinda miss the dinners, the dive stories, and the great camaraderie of dive days gone by. Hmmm, maybe next year.

Tropical Storm: Chris

My husband just emailed me. See, 75 degrees in the winter is nice, but this is today's weather report. My Keys house is at the red X . If the storm comes quickly we'll just get a lot of rain. If it stalls and grows...well, I don't want to think about it....I gotta go now and watch the weather channel.
