Look at the sky and guess
what time it is
the moon is up and half
a silver coin...but
you came to pull up lines
from the Arctic Sea
to marvel at the circling sun
and be with me.
I came to touch the flesh
of admired minds
to catch in the eye
what I'd missed on the page.
The sun shines on
the moon. Maybe the riddle is for me
and I should give to you
the time of day.
Love it. Last four lines are breathtaking.
BTW, what is that little hieroglyph at the top? Did you make it?

Hi,
Yes I did draw it but the idea came from a sketch I made in Lofoten of an icon I saw there--see next post.

THIS is the most beautiful meaningful poem I know by you... which is saying something.
Glad you posted it after reading it to us so evocatively in Å.
