Never a dull moment...

There’s nothing like creative friends to spice up your life--and I ought to know.

Last summer my poet friends got me on a plane to the Arctic circle. We stayed in a rorbu in the town of Å, Norway. It was the most exotic trip of my life.

Last week my friend Eleanor invited me to celebrate her 60^th by jumping from a plane two miles up! I wasn’t brave enough but I watched her do it. In her jumpsuit she looked like an astronaut as she walked back to meet us.

 

Last night another friend, Petone, celebrated her birthday with a celebrity look-a-like bash at Cinema Paradiso. Imagine partying with these people:

            Eva Langoria, Dame Edna, Jay Leno, Paris Hilton, Reese  Weatherspoon,  Gilligan, James Bond, Pink, Aristotle Onassis , Mitzi Gaynor, Groucho Marx, Sarah Jessica Parker, Marilyn Monroe, Selma Hayak, Brigitte Bardot, and lots of others.
